Employeeism:the exact opposite of "ownership". Characterized by its language. "I just work here", "I suggested that a couple of years ago, and THEY shot it down", "I just do as I'm told" are all examples of the language of employeeism.

Hensei: the process of deep self reflection. Hensei is practiced at the end of A3 or kaizen to reflect on what the team did well, what they learned, as well as agreement regarding when will we go and see if the improvement is still in effect or did it go back to the old way.

Ownership: the exact opposite of employeeism. Behaving as if YOU owned the company. The act of pleasing internal and external customers.

POUS or Point of Use Storage: storing things that are needed and used in a process in the proximity of that process. Used to reduce the waste of motion, transport and waiting

QATS: Quality at the Source-the concept of catching defects as early in the process as possible so your customer will never have to be the inspector.

Takt: pace or heartbeat of a process. Generally expressed as available time divided by number of units required.
